Iran National Innovative Fund Supporting the Presence of NTBFs in International Exhibitions

Ali Vahdat, the chairman of INIF announced a 50 percent raise in the amount of fund allocated to support NTBFs with their participation in international exhibitions. In an interview with ISNA he said: “In order to develop the export market and expand the international technology cooperation of NTBFs, Iran National Innovation Fund has supported the participation of companies in international prestigious exhibitions in 2017 and 2018.

He stated that in 2018, more than 78 applications for participation in these exhibitions were sent to INIF, saying that of these, 62 applications led to the participation of NTBFs in international accredited exhibitions. Vahdat mentioned more than 867 million Tomans of financial support is allocated for this purpose in the current year. He noted: “The capability department of INIF continues to support the presence of powerful exporting companies in international exhibitions.”

According to him, more than 36 credible international exhibitions are in the list of exhibitions approved in 2019, and the amount of financial support for the participation of any NTBF in the approved exhibitions has risen by 50% compared to 2018, reaching 60 million Tomans per year.

The chairman of INIF emphasized that NTBFs can apply to participate in the exhibitions independently or attend as a part of the national pavilion and to be considered for financial support they must send their applications to INIF. The chairman asked NTBFs to send any other exhibitions that are not included in the list by sending an email to Tejarisazi@nsfund.ir.
